The Kindness Couture website and Facebook page by the same name was founded by Jennifer Lea Reynolds, a writer and wellness advocate living in New England. Reynolds frequently writes about the importance of niceness for HuffPost, where she advocates the power of smiling more and frowning less.

She's also authored other articles about physical and mental health, corporate culture, weight loss, body image, and relationships for online publications such as Reader's Digest, Woman's Day, Smithsonian, PopSugar, Ravishly, and more. She is currently a health contributor for U.S. News & World Report and a columnist with Model Aviation magazine. Reynolds also created the health and wellness site, FlabbyRoad, which she continues to maintain and write for.

Children's Books

Reynolds’ children’s picture book, "Carl, The Not-so-Crabby Crab" is designed to teach the virtues of kindness in a world that often unfairly rushes to judgement based on appearance and assumptions. Another book she authored, The Cat Who Loved the Moon, was featured as part of a literary segment on NHPR’s Word of Mouth in June 2016.  Her pitch was one of three selected by a literary agent with Zachary Shuster Harmsworth after listeners were encouraged to submit story ideas.  She’s seeking literary agent representation for both children’s picture books.

Jennifer is a former New Jersey resident who now calls the Lakes Region of New Hampshire home. She enjoys photography and kayaking and admits to still having a thing for 80s music.
